Valle Nevado: natural stone that respects the budget.
The client wanted to move off laminate and onto natural stone without the premium cost of higher-drama options like quartzite or marble. Valle Nevado sits in exactly the right zone: it is genuine granite with all the durability and character that entails, but its subtle, low-variation pattern keeps material cost manageable. It is one of our most recommended entry-point natural stones. Beautiful, honest, and built to last.

Subtle movement, the right choice for a teal backsplash kitchen.
This kitchen has an existing teal glass tile backsplash the client loved and had no intention of replacing. A heavily veined or high-drama stone would have introduced a third competing visual element. Valle Nevado's even speckle distributes visual interest across the surface without directional lines that fight the backsplash pattern. The stone reads as texture, not pattern, which is the right register for a supporting material in a room that already has a statement element.

Slab selection, personally chosen at the yard.
We accompanied the client to the stone yard to select the actual slab. Valle Nevado is consistent in character, but warmth and speckle density vary enough between pieces that seeing the stone in natural light and template-checking the layout against the kitchen dimensions is always worth the visit. The client left the yard confident in the selection, not hoping it would look right when it arrived.

Sealing on install, setting expectations from day one.
Granite requires sealing on installation and periodic resealing thereafter. We applied a penetrating impregnator on the day of installation and walked the client through the simple annual maintenance routine including the water-bead test that tells you when resealing is due. A client who understands their stone's maintenance rhythm keeps it looking like day one for decades.
